Today I took Brooklyn for her 18 month appointment.
3 seconds after sitting in the waiting room she was in full on terror mode.
Not feeling good I was trying to be patient but my face must have said otherwise.
A guy sitting across from me ( who looked all of 20) smiled at Brooklyn then said
" You're doing a good job Mom. If she wasn't doing all these things then you should be worried. She's doing all the things she should be. My son is 17 months old."
I smiled said thanks and made a joke about how she is crazy.
It was a small gesture but he was right.
She is doing everything she should be by exploring and not sitting still.
I am thankful that she can move and laugh.
Then she tipped a chair on top of her and smashed her face.
Reality check.
Anyway, she is doing great 33 inches tall and 27 lbs. Almost as big as Boden.
She may need some Early Intervention for Speech as she is only saying about 3-4 words right now and should be putting many words together in 2 word sentences.
