Matt's Mom and Nana joke that they love coming down to our house because every time they do something is changed or new.
I guess as our family has evolved what worked for a family of 3 doesn't always work for a family of 5.
Plus, Im here a lot and like a change of scenery now and then.
And I think its genetic because browning up my Mom was always re-arranging and sprucing things up. :)
So one Fall project that I requested Matts help with for "back to school" was a solution for our coats, backpacks, etc.
We are working towards finishing our basement but that a huge project for another time. Anyway, here are the before and afters of our coat closet turned open "mudroom."
Before - well kinda - after I cleaned ALL the junk out and before we fixed it up ha.
After... minus coats.
Sorry for the poor quality photos - I didn't realize Brooklyn had played with the camera and gotten finger prints all over the lens :(
Anyway, so far its working out wonderfully and everything is kid height so the kids are responsible for putting their own shoes/ coats away! Yay!
