The Day Boden Went Swimming in 2 Inches of Water.

It was 50 degrees out today so what did we do? 

Hit up the beach of course. 

It was so nice and no one hardly there so we could let the kids run and run. 

Last year Boden was terrified of the water so the beach was not so fun. 

( Think loudest boy ever screaming non stop the entire time.) 

At first he seemed not so sure of this beach thing and was fussy. He sat next to me on the blanket but after a few minutes seeing his friend and Bristol playing decided it was cool. 

We had a great time eating snacks and playing the sand - oh and chasing Sea Gulls. 

Brooklyn started to get fussy so we took the kids down toward the water to push the stroller better on the packed sand hoping she would fall asleep. 

As B was showing me a GIANT clam Boden got brave and decided to run into the water- just as the tide started coming in. He turned to run and tripped falling face first into the water. 

Then in 2 inches of water started panicking/ swimming. 

Seeing his panic and without thinking I ran into the water, grabbing him getting completely soaked. 

Nothing like swimming in the Atlantic in 50 degree weather. 

All in all still a great day - SPRING IS HERE. 

Its official because we hung out on the deck with the sand and water table.
